Return Policy

Our goal is to ensure your complete satisfaction

If, for whatever reason, you are dissatisfied with your purchase made on our Powertac.com website, you can return it to PowerTac within 14 days of purchase date subject to conditions below. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be received within two business days of receipt of merchandise.  Product must show no signs of damage or abuse.  

Refunds & Credits

Refunds on returned items will be issued in the same payment form as tendered at the time of purchase. Once we receive and inspect the product we will credit your account. Please allow 5-7 days for a credit to appear on your account.

Exchanges

If any purchase fails to meet your complete and total satisfaction you may return or exchange it within 14 days of purchase.  If the item was sent back for an exchange, please allow 3-5 business days for the replacement to be processed.

Conditions

Please read all conditions below. If conditions are not met, PowerTac reserves the right to refuse the return or to charge a restocking fee not less than 15%.

  • All returned items must be in new condition, in their original unaltered box (including the UPC code being intact) and must include all packing material, manuals,and accessories.
  • PowerTac is not responsible for personal data or items left in returned merchandise.
  • PowerTac is not responsible for any consequential or incidental damage resulting from the sale or use of any merchandise bought from us. We are responsible for the monetary value of the merchandise only.

Defective items may be repaired, exchanged or refunded at our discretion for the same model or manufacturer's equivalent model.

Purchaser assumes the cost of return shipping to PowerTac for any product exchanges, returns or warranty related issues.  

THE POWERTAC NO-HASSLE LIFETIME WARRANTY on all flashlights

PowerTac warrants our illumination tools to be free from defects in workmanship and materials, including any LEDs housed within, for the lifetime of the original parts (the lifetime of the parts are specified by individual parts manufacturers). We will repair or replace your original purchase of these products, at our discretion, if it is determined by us to be defective.

Normal wear and tear – including batteries draining, lens breakage, switches wearing out – are not covered, nor is damage resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, battery damage, battery corrosion, use of other non-approved batteries or altering these products from their original state.

All Holsters and accessories for illumination tools are not covered by our lifetime warranty.

Battery and Rechargeable Battery Warranty Policy - Batteries are not covered by our Lifetime Warranty.  We offer 6-months exchange from date of purchase for PT 18650, 18500 and RCR123 batteries.  2-year exchange from date of purchase for 26650, Destroyer, X3000 and Thunderbolt batteries.

WARRANTY DISCLAIMER

The above warranty is exclusive, and to the extent permitted by applicable laws, shall be in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including, without limitation, any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular use or purpose. PowerTac disclaims any and all liability for product malfunctions, physical injuries, or property damages that result in whole, or in part, from the criminal, negligent, or improper use of the product, or from modifications or alterations thereto. In no event shall PowerTac be liable for any incidental, special, or consequential damages relating to the purchase, use, or performance of any PowerTac product.

WARRANTY CLAIMS

If you are having operational issues with your flashlight - please follow the proper warranty procedure as stated below - do not attempt to return your flashlight to us without prior authorization:

Step 1 - Call (919) 239-4470 between the hours of 9:30AM - 4:00PM EST Monday - Friday.  Ask for the warranty/repair department to have our technician complete a telephone diagnosis; please have your flashlight in hand with fresh batteries.

   OR

Step 2 - Email info@powertac.com to request a warranty/repair authorization form. You must indicate malfunctioning problem in detail.  Technician will email you back with response.

Step 3 - Technician will determine proper action to take based on his/her diagnosis.  If flashlight needs to be sent in, customer assumes responsibility for cost of shipment to us.  We will pay for return shipping back to you.  (Please note, if flashlight is deemed completely operational to factory specifications and problem is solely due to malfunctioning, low or dead battery, Powertac reserves the right to charge a $10 fee for return shipping).

International Policies - Orders shipping outside the United States will be subject to additional verification. Please email or contact us by phone prior to placing order. 

Adverse Weather Policy- Contingency plans are always in place to ensure the safety and well-being of our team members and to minimize the effects of a storm on service. Severe storms or weather often cause pickup and delivery delays and disruptions for PowerTac customers. PowerTac will be prepared to provide service to the best of our ability in areas affected by storms and as local conditions allow.
