The PowerTac RCR123A (16340) is a strong and reliable Lithium-ion battery. Features a massive 700mAh capacity along with 3.7V energy output that is perfect for powering our high-lumen LED flashlights. Each PowerTac battery is designed and manufacturered with a internal safety PCB (protection circuit board) to prevent overcharging. Compatible Powertac flashlight models include Cadet Gen II, E10R and Marksman.
NOT compatible with any PowerTac flashlight that normally stacks (2) CR123 disposible batteries (such as E5, E9, Warrior models). Use (1) Powertac 18650 (2600 or 3400 mAh, 3.7V) in these circumstances if you desire a rechargeable battery.
BATTERY PRECAUTION – Please read!
Use only “Protected” lithium-ion batteries equipped with PCB (protection circuit board) or PCM (Protection Circuit Module). All PowerTac-branded batteries have this protection circuit. “Unprotected” lithium-ion batteries are NOT recommended – never use – serious risk of personal injury or property damage may occur due to possible explosion. Do not attempt to recharge disposable batteries such as a CR123A Li-ion commonly used in flashlights.
Use caution when working with Li-ion cells, they are very sensitive to charging characteristics and may explode or burn if mishandled. Make sure the user has appropriate understanding of Li-ion rechargeable batteries (such as 18650, 18500, 26650, RCR123A) in charging, discharging and assembly before use. DO NOT mix and match old and new, used and unused batteries; be sure Voltage and mAh ratings are the same. PowerTac is not responsible for any personal or property damage caused by misuse or mishandling of Li-ion batteries and/or chargers.
PowerTac Lifetime Warranty is NOT valid if third-party (non-PowerTac) branded batteries cause damage to the flashlight due to improper type used, misuse, leakage or explosion. Consumer assumes all responsibility for proper battery installation and usage.
Use ONLY the recommended battery-type for your particular PowerTac flashlight. Important – please do your research and make sure your battery is compatible.
